Resident Artist Adelaide Boedecker in a recent Brown Bag concert

A recent Brown Bag concert

You're invited to the March Brown Bag concert, "Bel canto"!

“Bel canto” is Italian for "beautiful singing", and this free concert will live up to the name. Our Resident Artists will treat you to works by Bellini, Donizetti and Rossini, with selections from The Barber of Seville, including the famous “Largo al factotum” (aka “Figaro! Figaro! Figaro”), as the highlight.

Free and open to everyone. Bring a friend and bring a lunch! Meet the Resident Artists afterward in an informal reception. Doors open at 11:30.

  • Please note that the Pittsburgh Opera garage is available only for handicapped parking, by reservation. RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 PM FRIDAY, March 18. Click here to reserve a handicapped parking spot for the March 19 Brown Bag concert.
