Opera Night Out - The Rake’s Progress

Pittsburgh Opera's LGBT event series Opera Night Out returns on Saturday, April 30th, to celebrate the opening night of Stravinsky powerful opera The Rake's Progress.

The Rake's Progress features:

  • Sets and costumes by David Hockney, “the most influential British artist of all time”
  • Libretto by W. H. Auden, “arguably the 20th century’s greatest poet”
  • Music by Igor Stravinsky, “one of music’s truly epochal innovators”

Enjoy opening night of this amazing, captivating opera, then join us for a special reception after the performance at The Capital Grille. Mingle, enjoy light refreshments, and chat with members of the cast and crew. 

The Opera Night Out package includes a ticket to the performance, in our best-available seats in Section C, and admission to the reception at The Capital Grille. The package price is $115. Buyers who already hold tickets to the Saturday, April 30 performance of The Rake's Progress may add the cast party only for $50 per reservation.
