Pittsburgh Opera will offer an Audio Description service for customers with visual impairments during our March 13th Art Song Recital.
Through Assistive Listening Devices, patrons can hear the translations read simultaneously with the music, as well as descriptions of the visual aspects of the recital.
Pittsburgh Opera's Resident Artists explore the vast art song repertoire, on selected Sundays during the season. The March 13 Art Song recital features mezzo-soprano Laurel Semerdjian, bass-baritone Matthew Scollin, and Mark Trawka on piano in a program to be announced soon. FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera are your hosts at the reception.
Art Song Recitals are on selected Sundays during the season, in the George R. White Studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters. Admission is $5; free to members of FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera and donors at $50+.
