This Art Song recital will feature Resident Artists Ashley Fabian, Eric Ferring, Shannon Jennings, and Benjamin Taylor.
These talented singers will inspire you with Art Songs written by the composers of Pittsburgh Opera’s 2017-18 season, including Donizetti, Jake Heggie, Mozart and Puccini. In addition, as a special treat, the recital will include a short set of songs from Schubert’s Winterreise, which our world premiere of Ashes & Snow is based upon.
FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera are your hosts at the reception.
Art Song Recitals are on selected Sundays during the season, in the George R. White Studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters, 2425 Liberty Avenue in the Strip. Admission is $5; free to members of FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera and donors at $50+.
Please note that the Pittsburgh Opera garage is available only for handicapped parking, by reservation. RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 PM FRIDAY, November 17th. Reserve a handicapped parking spot for the November Art Song Recital.
