You're invited to our free November Brown Bag concert! Our theme is C’est Magnifique! An Operatic Tour de France.
As the name implies, the program is filled with works by French composers, including:
- Bizet
- Gounoud
- Massenet
- Offenbach
- Saint-Saëns
- And more
Selections will include beautiful arias from operas such as:
- Romeo and Juliet
- The Pearl Fishers
- Faust
- Samson and Delilah
- And many more
Performing will be our 2016-17 Resident Artists.
The performance takes place in the George R. White studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters, 2425 Liberty Avenue in the Strip. It's free and open to everyone. Bring a friend and bring a lunch! Meet the Resident Artists afterward in an informal reception.
Doors open at 11:30. Please note that the Pittsburgh Opera garage is available only for handicapped parking, by reservation. RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 PM FRIDAY, November 11. Reserve a handicapped parking spot for the November Brown Bag concert.
